  • ​2018    Celebrated 20th anniversary of Sahai our guests of honor Mr. G Santhanam IAS, Mr. K Radhakrishnan IPS

  • 2014    Inauguration of Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy               block

  • 2002    SAHAI buys Government land in Kovilpalayam to construct SSIRC (SAHAI Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Centre)

  • 1999    SAHAI's logo unveiled and newsletter published

  • 1998    SAHAI was registered as a Charitable Trust in      Coimbatore, rehabilitation program started in a rented facility at    J.M. Hospital

  • 1992    The idea of SAHAI was born and the planning phase started

SPORTS FOR PARAPLEGICS

  • 2022   SAHAI Para-athlete Mr. Manoj Kumar participated in Sketcher’s Chennai Half Marathon and finished at 3rd place with a timing 1:19:14.

  • 2022   6 Athletes participated in  achieved 20th National Athletic Championship, Bhubaneshwar Odisha, got 3 Gold and 2 Silver medals 

  • 2022   8 Athletes participated in 17th State Level Para Athletic Championship, got 9 Gold, 7 Silver & 1 Bronze medals

  • 2021   3rd Indian Open National Para Athletics Championship, Our athlete Mr. Manoj Kumar got 3 Gold medals in Wheelchair Racing.

  • 2021  19th National Para Athletics Championship, Bangalore., We got 1 Gold, and 2 Silver medals

  • 2021   8 Athletes participated in16th State Senior Para Athletic Championship Coimbatore. Got 5 Gold and 5 Silver medals

  • 2020    3 Athletes participated in Coimbatore District Para sports meet; Got 5 medals (3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze)

  • 2019    Conducted Parathon 2019 wheelchair marathon at Kottakkal, Kerala

  • 2019    Our team got affiliated with divyang cricket control board of India as wheelchair cricket association of Tamilnadu

  • 2019    SAHAI Wheelchair Cricketers, Coimbatore won the State Level Championship Runner at the Wheelchair Cricket League held at Chennai by CBRF. 

  • 2019    State level Paralympic Athlete Meet 2019 at kaaraikudi Tamilnadu 11 Athletes participated, achieved 9 medals (5 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze)

  • 2019    Manoj Kumar bagged the silver medal for India in both 100 and 200 meters wheelchair race at the 4th International Para Athletics Championship held at North Africa

  • 2018    6 Athletes participated in 4 events placed 10 medals in TAMILNADU Para sports state championship at Madurai.

  • 2018    4 Athletes participated, received 3 medals (1gold and 2silver) in 18th National Para athletics championships at Hariyana

  • 2017    Athletes Participated and achieved medals in state level and national Para athletics championships.

  • 2015    Participated in district level Paralympic athletic sports

  • 2010    Sports meets conducted for the physically challenged school children
